FREE CROCHET PATTERN: Daisy
Who doesn’t like DAISIES?!?!?! …. lol
In this post I will show you how to make these beautiful daises that you can use on many projects!
At the bottom of the post you can find my ideas for them but you can also embellish so many other things
(basket, bag, blanket, ponytail band…..whatever you want)
For this pattern you will need:
I use this yarn www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/unitas-mirabela You can also use some of these brands if they are available to you for my patterns Aunt Lydia’s fashion 3 size 100% Mercerized cotton or “Patons Grace” 100% mercerized cotton or anything similar.
3 mm crochet hook
You can make the pestle holding one strand of yarn or two. With two strands it will be a little bigger which I prefer. 🙂
Make two ch, 6 sc in second ch from hook, two sc in every sc that you just made, slst in first sc. Fasten off. At this point you should have 12 stitches of sc.
Now we are going to do petals. Do them holding only one strand of yarn.
Insert hook into the back loop only of the sc on the pestle and attach white yarn.
Make 10 ch’s and sc back into that same loop. *Make sc into the next back loop, 10 ch, sc into the same loop. Repeat from * all the way around.
You should now have 12 white petals.
Now we are going to make second row of petals and you do them only through front loop of the sc on the pestle.
*Sc into the first loop, ch 8, sc into that same loop. Repeat from * all the way around. Fasten off.
And your daisy is finished. 🙂
Weave in ends of the pestle and with ends of petals tie the daisy to your project.
