Ready to make your 5 minutes flower?! 🙂
This flower is very easy and quick you’ll be amazed!
Great way to use all those scraps of yarn that we all have!
Use them to embellish your project or make a key chain
and make someone happy in
JUST 5 MINUTES!!!!
This flower is designed with much love and positive energy and there are no advertisements on this page so you can follow the pattern without distraction!
If you would like to download printable pdf file for this pattern you can download it from Etsy, Ravelry of Craftsy for a small fee!
Now, enough talking….
LET’S GET BUSY!!!
To make the flower you will need small amount of yarn (it can be any yarn), hook for the yarn you are using and yarn needle.
(metal key ring if you want to make a key chain)
I used two strands of cotton yarn but you don’t have to.
The thicker yarn will give you larger flower and thinner smaller flower. Pure logic….lol
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
slst – slip stitch
This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.
Start by making ch 8. Slst in first chain to form a ring.
Make 12 sc into the ring. Slst in first sc from beginning.
Ch 1, sc in next stitch, *ch 8, sc in next 2 stitches (repeat from * 4 more times), ch 8, sc in last stitch.
In next ch 8 space make *4 sc, 3 hdc, 4 sc. Skip one stitch and make slst in next.
Repeat from * for all the petals around. When you finish last petal make slst in next st. Fasten off.
If you want to make a key chain then make another 15 ch and slst in first stitch of the first petal.
AND YOUR 5 MINUTES FLOWER IS DONE! 🙂
You can use this flower as an applique for your projects, or you can make them in lot’s of different colors and join them in the scarf, necklace or anything that comes to your mind. 🙂
