This flower is very easy to make!
You will need about 10 minutes of your time.
You can use it as an embellishment for any crochet goodies you are working on or as a key chain. 🙂
This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.
For this pattern you will need:
– cotton yarn I use Unitas Mirabela You can also use some of these brands if they are available to you for my patterns Aunt Lydia’s fashion 3 size 100% Mercerized cotton or “Patons Grace” 100% mercerized cotton or anything similar.
– 3 mm crochet hook
– needle with blunt tip
– one metal key ring (optional)
– ch – chain
– sc – single crochet
– dc – double crochet
– slst – slip stitch
Start with chain 4, slst in first chain to join in a ring.
*ch 3, sc into the ring, repeat from * 5 times
*slst in 3ch space, ch 1, 3 dc in same 3ch space, ch 1, slst in same space, repeat from * 5 times.
2 ch, change color, make slst in back of 3 dc of petal. *Ch 6, slst in back of 3 dc of petal (repeat from * 5 more times).
Sc in ch 6 space, 2 ch, 7 dc in ch 6 space, ch 2, sc in same ch 6 space. Repeat 5 more time for every petal around.
Make sc around the flower with same color as 1st and 2nd round, making sc in every sc, in every 2 ch space and every dc.
If you want to make a key chain make another 15 chains and slst in the last sc. On this loop put metal key ring.
Make 2 cords of about 40 chains and tie them to the center of the flower. Tie a knot on every end.
I hope you enjoyed it and that you LOVE your new flower key chain! 🙂
