Yardage: 251 yards (230 meters)

Unit weight: 100 grams (3.53 ounces)

Fibers: 80% Baby Acrylic, 20% Polyamide

Gauge: 4 hdc /4 rows in 2,5 cm/1 inch square

but you can use any similar yarn that you want. You will need about 50-70 grams of yarn.

  • 5 mm crochet hook
  • yarn needle
Stitches used:
  • ch – chain
  • sc – single crochet
  • hdc – half double crochet
  • slst – slip stitch
This pattern is written in U.S. crochet terms.
The pattern is written for 3 sizes:
small – 22 cm/8.7 in, medium – 24 cm/9.5, large – 26 cm/10 in.

 Row 1:

Ch 2, 8 hdc in the 2nd ch from the hook, slst in the first hdc that you made. (8)

 Row 2:

Ch 2, make 2 hdc in the same stitch that you made slip stitch and in every stitch around, slst in the first hdc that you made. (16)

Row 3:

Ch 2, make 1 hdc in the same hdc that you made slst in, 2 hdc in next stitch, *1 hdc in next stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch, (repeat from * around), slst in the hdc from the beginning of the row. (24)

Row 4:

Ch 2, make 1 hdc in the same hdc that you made slst in, 1 hdc in next 2 stitches, 2 hdc in next stitch, *1 hdc in next 3 stitches, 2 hdc in next (repeat from * around), slst in the hdc from the beginning of the row. (30)

Rows 5-12 small, 5-13 medium, 5-14 large:

Ch 2, make 1 hdc in the same hdc that you made slst in, and in every stitch around, slst in the first hdc that you made. (30)

Row 13 small, 14 medium, 15 large:

Ch 2, make 1 hdc in the same hdc that you made slst in, 1 hdc in next 21 stitches, ch 2, turn. (22)

Rows 14-27 small, 15-30 medium, 16-33 large:

In every hdc make 1 hdc, ch 2, turn. (22)

Row 28 small, 31 medium, 34 large:

In every hdc make 1 hdc, fasten off. (22) Leave about 25 cm / 10 in tail.

With that tail and yarn needle sew the heel like on the picture.

Now attach contrasting color at the heel and make sc around. (You should have 40 sc for small size, 44 sc for medium and 48 sc for large size)

Slst in the first sc that you made.

Make two more rows of sc.

Ch1, 1 sc in every sc from previous row, slst in the first sc that you made. (x2)

Fasten off.

Also with contrasting color make a lace of about 70 ch and tie a bow as a decoration where you want. 🙂

You don’t have to do this, I just loooove bows. Hehehe

Weave in all ends and you’re done! 🙂
